The TUDIYALUR CO-OPERATIVE AGRICULTURAL SERVICES LTD., (No: K 1550) was started in the year 1955. To supply all kinds of agricultural inputs such as quality Seeds, Fertilisers, Pesticides, farm implements and Banking under one roof. In the year 1980, the institution celebrated its “SILVER JUBILEE”. function the then President of India His Excellency NEELAM SANJIVA REDDY and State Ministers participated in the function and graced the occasion. TUCAS is being awarded the best working Cooperative Institution for the last ELEVEN consecutive years from 1998-1999 to 2010-2011 by the Government of Tamilnadu. TUCAS has been awarded one of the Best performing institution in the field of development of Disabled and Poverty Alleviation to the weaker section of the Society on the occasion of Independence Day Celebration dated 15th August, 2005 by the District Collector, Coimbatore for the year 2004-2005. TUCAS installed a touch screen Agricultural portal Kiosk donated by IFFCO (INDIAN FARMERS FERTILIZERS COOPERATIVE) which provides information on the broad such as 136 varieties of Crops, Market prices of agricultural commodities, method of plant protection, land reformation, rainfall etc., for the benefit of the farmers. Thanks to the dedicated services of the former Presidents, Board of Directors, Special Officers, Members and the Staffs, the Institution is working on profit from the very inception.
